The water tank is located on the top of the brewing machine toward the back of the unit. The affected brewing systems have the model number K10 and an identification number starting with “31” on a white sticker on the bottom of the brewing machine. Burn-related injuries are most common when the brewing system is used to make more than two cups in quick succession. There have been about 200 reports of hot liquid escaping from the brewer, and approximately 90 people have come forward with burn-related injuries.
